Christina Applegate arrives for the 29th Screen Actors Guild Awards.

Christina Applegate didn't mince words when discussing her battle with multiple sclerosis (MS).

The 52-year-old spoke very candidly about the diagnosis and the comfort she's found in recording a new podcast with co-host and Sopranos star Jamie-Lynn Sigler–who was also diagnosed with MS over two decades ago at the age of 20–during a recent sit-down with Good Morning America's Robin Roberts.

"She keeps me going because ... I’m flipping the bird all day long at this thing and I’m angry. I’m really, really pissed," Applegate said of the support she's received from Sigler. "She’s like, 'OK, I have you, and you are going to be OK. Like you’re going to be OK.' And if not for her ... I really honestly don’t know."

The Dead to Me alum went on to explain that life with the neurodegenerative disease is "living in a kind of hell," admitting that just getting settled for the interview was "a little difficult...for [her] system," seeing as she's "not out a lot."

Still, the former Married With Children actress suggested her experience could have been even more difficult had she not listened to Selma Blair, who she credited with telling her to get tested for MS, "If not for her, it could’ve been way worse."

The actress has previously opened up about the "frightening reality" of the diagnosis she received in 2021, which she has said impacts several of her daily tasks, including showering, using the stairs and carrying things.

There are "certain things that people take for granted in their lives," she shared, "that [she] took for granted," too.
