Bloody Mary Chili Recipe

“I love the concept of Bloody Mary Chili because it combines two things I really associate with watching football games: chili and Bloody Mary’s,” Drummond says in the video. “It’s the perfect combination!”

To get started, put chopped onions, celery, and more on a skillet and sautéing them. Add the beef next, which you will brown. While that’s cooking, Drummond prepares the sauce mixture that will go in the chili. Instead of tomato sauce, she uses Bloody Mary mix and vodka (it is a party, after all!).

She adds a few more ingredients for extra spice and mixes it together. When she returns to her skillet, the meat is brown. So Drummond adds some seasonings to the meat, including cumin which provides an “unmistakable flavor that I absolutely love.”

Next, pour in the Bloody Mary sauce and two different kinds of beans and let it simmer for an hour. It’s as easy as that! Drummond served with chips on the side, plus carrots and celery with ranch and brownies for dessert.

If you live in my family, you would serve it with some noodles added in and some sour cream and cheese on top! Other people added their own twists in the comments section, with one person writing, “I always add Horseradish to my Bloody Mary mix. This adds an additional level of spice!”

Another person said, “I’m going to try this one. I like to add a little flour so that the sauce gets really thick.” “Mmmmm looks good for biscuits,” someone else wrote.

No matter how you prepare it, this recipe looks fabulous — and it’s the perfect thing to make for the game on Sunday.
