Numarine Just Delivered 3 New Explorer Yachts at Once

Numarine just scored one hell of a yachting hat trick.

The Turkish yard delivered not one but three new superyachts at once, according to a statement shared Monday. The new fleet members are all part of Numarine’s popular XP series of explorers that measure from 74 to 149 feet.

The trio includes one 37XP model measuring 121 feet and two 26XPs spanning 85 feet each. All three were created by the yard’s long-term partners, with Can Yalman overseeing the interior and exterior design and Umberto Tagliavini spearheading the naval architecture.

Newcomer Maya is the 11th 37XP to hit the seas. The 121-footer is currently the largest launched model in the Numarine fleet but will be surpassed by the 128-foot 40MXP after it launches in 2025.

The 345 GT vessel features a full displacement steel hull and a sleek composite superstructure. The interiors, which Rezzan Benardete conceived, offer several sun-soaked social areas and seven guest cabins. The owner’s suite is positioned on the main deck, though there is also a large suite on the upper deck that the owner can commandeer.

Other highlights of Maya include an aft beach club with a bathing platform and indoor lounge, a flybridge with more than 890 square feet of space, and an upper deck terrace that doubles as a party space and tender garage.

The go-anywhere 37XP can cover some 6,000 nautical miles when cruising at 8 knots, meaning it is on par with some of the best expedition yachts in its class. It can also autonomously travel 5,000 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 10 knots and reach 14 knots at full tilt.

The smaller 85-foot newcomers are the 24th and 25th 26XP hulls to be delivered. The duo showcases bulbous vertical bows and displacement hulls, though the 26XP can also be built with a planing hull. Powered by twin 560 hp MAN engines, the yachts can travel at a max speed of 13.5 knots, cruise at 9 knots, and cover 3,000 nautical miles at 8 knots. Both are equipped with rooftop solar panels that generate energy for their hotel loads and 80 kW lithium batteries.

The light and airy living quarters include one owner’s suite amidship, two VIP cabins, and one twin. The sprawling main saloon is the centerpiece, with full-height windows that can slide open to connect guests with the surrounding sea. Outside lies a plush bow lounge, an aft deck with steps to the sea, and a 750-square-foot flybridge with an alfresco dining area and storage space for a tender.

Numarine has launched no less than 25 26XP yachts to date, notably delivering three 85-footers on the first day of summer back in 2020. The yard has another hat trick on the horizon, too. Three more 37XPs will be delivered in 2024, the yard says. Bring it on.
