Miranda Lambert is no stranger to the spotlight. Everything from her red carpet looks at the Grammys to her anniversary celebrations with husband Brendan McLoughlin to her heartfelt personal moments get fans talking and chiming in with messages of support on social media.

Few of Lambert’s Instagram posts have garnered more attention—and concern—than her March announcement that after 20 years, she was parting ways with her Sony music label. Fans flooded her post with love, but also a bit of curiosity and a bit of concern after the 39-year-old singer said, “I can’t wait to see what the next adventure holds.”

No need to worry about her hanging up her cowboy hat yet. In fact, the "Somethin’ Bad" singer had something great on the horizon already when she teased that news. This week, it became official: The GRAMMY Award-winning duo of Miranda Lambert and Jon Randall are teaming up to launch their own record label, Big Loud Texas, which is an imprint of Big Loud Records.

Randall and Lambert have long been friends and music industry allies, and they even collaborated on the 2021 album The Marfa Tapes. Now, they’ll be partnering to sign and develop all of the artists on the roster for Big Loud Texas.

“As a teenager chasing my dreams in the honky-tonks of Texas, Nashville seemed so far away,” Lambert said in a press release. “Every time I'm back home I get to hear the incredible talent our state produces, and I feel a responsibility to help get more of those Texas voices heard. I'm really excited to team up with my buddy Jon Randall and Big Loud to do just that. Get ready, y'all—we're bringing even more Texas to town!”

Singer-songwriter Randall, who will act as president of Big Loud Texas, added that he feels “very blessed to share this full circle moment with one of my best pals, Miranda Lambert, and help some other dreamers chase their song around the world.”

The artists who join Big Loud Texas will be in great hands with Lambert and Randall, of course, and they’ll be in terrific company as part of Big Loud Records. Since the label’s launch in 2015, they’ve made moves up the Billboard charts with artists like Morgan Wallen, Lauren Alaina, Dallas Smith, Maggie Rose, and many more.

Lambert’s followers are already smitten, chiming in with comments like:

  • "Love this! We have so many amazing artists in Texas! So happy to see this!!!"

  • "Cmon!!! Love this Miranda! Championing the next storytellers❤️"

  • "This is so amazing!! Creative freedom + good ole texas music scene. we’re ready for it"

  • "AYYY YOOOO -- music to my honkytonk lovin' ears 🤠"

Others entered the conversation to tag their friends who they think are worthy of joining the Big Loud Texas family. We can’t wait to see who gets a hat tip from this talented duo!
