Brew at the Zoo brings local crafts to the event

(PUEBLO, Colo.) — Craft beverages, live music, and local gourmet street food are returning to the Pueblo Zoo for its seventh annual Brew at the Zoo event on Saturday, April 27.

Pueblo Zoo said visitors will have the opportunity to stroll through the event and find themselves inches from an African lion or watch North American river otters show off their swimming skills.

This year said Pueblo Zoo, the event will have local craft vendors for browsing and shopping. Proceeds from the event go towards helping the Pueblo Zoo care for exotic and endangered animals locally and globally.

“This has become one of our most important – and FUN! – fundraising events,” says Executive Director, Abbie Krause. “We love the support folks have shown both for the zoo and for our local brewer/distiller community. Come have a libation for conservation!”

The event will happen on Saturday from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. rain or shine. General Admission tickets are sold for $45 for members and $50 for non-members. Tickets are available on Pueblo Zoo’s website, must be 21 and over to purchase tickets and attend, no kids or dogs are allowed.
