Longtime Hearthstone pro Adrian “Lifecoach” Koy has left G2 Esports, he announced via Twitter Monday. The departure follows his decision to retire from professional Hearthstone back in February. Instead of focusing his energy on Hearthstone, he’ll be playing Gwent for the foreseeable future.

G2 Esports commented on the Reddit post announcing the split, saying, “We parted ways on good terms due to foreseeable differences in our plan for the future. We thank Lifecoach for his time with us and wish him the best in Gwent. Hopefully our paths will cross again as Gwent emerges as an Esport.”

Lifecoach’s YouTube channel has been focusing on Gwent for the last few months, even going so far as to host VODs of tournaments like Throne of Cards IV and Gwent Challenger.

G2 still has three Hearthstone players on the roster, including Jakub “Lothar” Szygulski, Dima “Rdu” Radu, and Thijs “Thijs” Molendijk.
