Back in September, Liev Schreiber and Naomi Watts broke our hearts into a million pieces with news of their separation. It's been a trying couple of months without one of Hollywood's foremost power couples on the scene, but both parties have assured fans that they're doing just fine (and one day we'll get there too).

Watts is hard at work on many projects set to debut in 2017--which includes her appearance on the upcoming Twin Peaks revival. Meanwhile, Liev's focus has been onstage--he's currently starring in the Broadway revival of Les Liaisons Dangereuses (yes, the inspiration behind Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe's steamy 1999 drama, Cruel Intentions). Schreiber and Watts are also collaborating on an upcoming film, The Bleeder.

Obviously, the film isn't the only thing Liev and Naomi are currently collaborating on. In the months since their divorce, the actors have had to adapt to new ways of co-parenting their two sons, 9-year-old Alexander Pete and 7-year-old Samuel Kai.

"We're parents together, so we'll be together for the rest of our lives no matter what," Schreiber told CBS This Morning in an interview on Thursday. "We're very close. Hopefully, that never changes, and I don't think it will."

Aww, we don't think it will either, Liev.
