Liberty VFW to host Suicide Awareness Benefit Brunch

LIBERTY, Pa. (WETM) – The Liberty VFW Post 6755 will be hosting a Suicide Awareness Benefit Brunch this weekend to support local veterans.

The brunch benefit is open to the public and will take place at the Liberty VFW located at 1616 Beutertown Road in Liberty, on Sunday, Feb. 18, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Admission to the event is $12 for adults and $7 for children under 12.

Blossburg library to host community Valentine’s Day event

All adults who bring a donation of socks, stocking hats, blankets or any other winter clothing item will receive $2 off their adult meal. All items that are donated at the brunch will be donated to the Bath VA Community Living Center, which assists local veterans in need.

All proceeds raised from the brunch will help the Liberty VFW and This Is My Quest: Veterans In the Wild in assisting local veterans.
