Lexus enters the compact luxury crossover segment

Transcript: Lexus enters the compact crossover segment. Lexus has revealed the UX 200 and UX 250h at the 2018 geneva motor show. This will be Lexus’ first foray into the compact luxury crossover segment. The UX 200 comes with a 2.0-liter inline-four dynamic force engine. With extreme thermal efficiency that produces 168 horsepower and utilizes a direct shift CVT. The UX 250h replaces the dynamic force engine with a hybrid system making 176 horsepower. A rear axle electric motor also makes the UX 250h all-wheel drive. The UX’s are 177-inches long slightly longer than Toyota’s C-HR. Both models will go on sale in the fall in the U.S. Pricing has yet to be announced. Lexus unveiled two compact luxury crossovers at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show.
