Lexmark raises dividend from 25 cents to 30 cents
LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) — Printer maker Lexmark International Inc. said Thursday that it's raising its newly instituted quarterly dividend by 5 cents to 30 cents per share.
The company paid its first dividend, of 25 cents, in November. The increased dividend represents an annual yield on the company's shares of almost 4 percent, based on their closing stock price Thursday.
Lexmark shares rose 44 cents to close Thursday at $30.17.
The Lexington, Ky., company said it will pay the new dividend on June 15 to shareholders of record on June 1.
