GOP remains in La La Land

Republicans are well populated in mass in the La La Land of the country. Polls have consistently shown Biden being easily defeated by virtually any serious Republican candidate apart from Trump, and yes, that included Nikki Haley as well. But no, nearly all the primary Republican voters went for Trump, Trump or Trump.

Trump is the top choice of Democrats to run against and the Republican voters came through in flying colors for the blue crew. Yes, well done GOP voters. Come this November, with all the never-ending travails surrounding Trump with trials, lawsuits, etc., plus Biden’s ample re-election trove of millions in the war chest will leave him well positioned for a second run for the Oval Office, with Kamala Harris eager to replace the fading Biden before 2028.

And much like prior to the last election, another rabbit out of the Democrat hat may be in the offing as well, comparable to the more than 50 former senior intelligence officials that signed on to a document in 2016 outlining their deceitful and fabricated belief that the disclosure of emails “allegedly” discovered on Hunter Biden’s laptop “has all the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation.”

All this while Hunter’s laptop was already in the hands of the FBI for weeks. This malicious and dishonest effort in 2016 was successful in dissuading numerous Trump voters to vote Biden, who could have instead voted for and perhaps elected Trump.

Hospital also has billing issues

Re: your March 10 story, “State records detail violations found at eight area hospitals”:

Do violations pertaining to billing count? Los Robles’ parent company sent me a bill in August last year for services which should have been covered by Medicare and my supplemental insurance. Upon checking, the amount, I had never been billed to my supplemental insurance. Incidentally, or maybe not, the billing came from the office in Tennessee. I was told that upon submission, payment would take four to five weeks. I conveyed that information to the office in Tennessee.

Shortly after I received another bill, this time from the Los Robles’ parent company in Cincinnati, Ohio, for the same item. Upon checking with my supplemental insurance, I was told the bill had been submitted to it and was in the process of being approved and paid. I wrote to both offices of Los Robles’ parent company asking for proof of submission and rejection of the request for payment. This was in October 2023. I have yet to receive a reply.
