As March 19th approaches, we urge all voters to cast a “FOR THE RENEWAL LEVY” vote on the upcoming ballot measure to renew the 5-year Union-Scioto Local School District income tax levy. This levy is not a new tax, but a continuation of essential funding for the perpetuation of the quality education our students receive.

For the past 33 years, the Union-Scioto Local School District income tax levy has played a vital role in maintaining a superior standard within the many programs and services afforded to the students and community. It has allowed us to maintain our support to the future financial stability of our school and it has allowed the staff to continue providing our children with the excellent educational opportunities the entire Unioto Family have grown accustomed to.

We understand that taxes are a concern for everyone. However, the Union-Scioto Local School District income tax levy provides a significant return on investment. It ensures that we have the resources to maintain a strong and vibrant community, which benefits everyone who lives here.

We are proud of the education and opportunities our own children have received at Unioto and we encourage you to learn more about the levy by visiting www.renew4theU.com. From the education students receive to the many other extracurriculars offered, Unioto has continually brought the students and community together. We are extremely proud to say that our community is stronger due to the dedicated Unioto administration and staff.

On March 19th, please join us in voting FOR for the Union-Scioto Local School District levy renewal.

John & Patricia Wetzel
