Leonardo DiCaprio and Nina Agdal Were Spotted on a Sushi Date Just Days Before Split

Leonardo DiCaprio and Nina Agdal may have just amicably parted ways — but the two had enjoyed a sushi date just the week before.

DiCaprio, 41, and Agdal, 25, were spotted soaking up the sunny California weather at a sushi restaurant in West Hollywood last Tuesday. The then-couple seemed to have taken a motorcycle to the restaurant as two helmets were sitting across from them at the table as they ate sushi rolls and fish tacos.

It was the last time they were seen out together before PEOPLE confirmed on Thursday that the two had broken up.

“Nina and Leo have parted ways. It is amicable. They remain friends,” a source close to the couple told PEOPLE.

Before the sushi outing, the two were seen taking a cozy stroll in downtown Manhattan in late April, where onlookers said the two weren’t shy about showing their affection.

“It was a really sweet moment,” an onlooker told PEOPLE at the time, adding that “Nina put her arms around his neck and kissed him. She was laughing loudly and very flirty with Leo.”

A month earlier, the private couple stepped out to attend an intimate showcase for an Australian band making its New York City debut. Once inside, the couple were joined by the actor’s longtime friend, rapper Q-Tip, sources confirmed to PEOPLE.

The night out in the city came days after DiCaprio and Agdal celebrated the model’s 25th birthday in St. Bart’s, where they met up with Orlando Bloom and a group of friends.

DiCaprio and Agdal split a year after they were first seen together. The two continued their globe-trotting romance, usually staying private and in low-key settings.
