LeGarrette Blount throws shade at Brett Favre's Super Bowl record

LeGarrette Blount’s got jokes, folks.

On Thursday, the two-time Super Bowl winner and running back for the Philadelphia Eagles was asked if he has any questions for Brett Favre, who will be stopping by the Eagles’ hotel on Saturday to have an inspirational chat with the team. Blount had a stunner of an answer.

Unless a player has won at least as many Super Bowl rings as he has, Blount doesn’t want his advice, thank you very much.

Of course, the laughter in that tweet might have given away the kicker. A few hours later Blount tweeted that he definitely wasn’t serious about passing on Favre’s advice.

It’s Brett Favre, an elder statesman of football! Of course Blount wasn’t going to seriously brush him off like that. But even an elder statesman isn’t immune to a little good-natured ribbing every now and then.

The Super Bowl may be the biggest game of the year, but Blount obviously isn’t letting that kill his sense of humor. Maybe Favre should ask Blount and his two Super Bowl rings some questions on Saturday. (Kidding! Kidding!)
