The left should be careful what they wish for

Unless you have been in a Rip Van Winkle-like deep sleep, you have noticed that the Left, as personified by the Democrat Party and enabled by a few Quisling Republicans, has been engaging in an all out attempt to destroy Donald Trump and to keep him from being the next president of the United States. The Democrats, once a legitimate American political party, have morphed into something resembling a cross between an organized crime syndicate and a fascist dictatorship.

They have gone so far that they don’t even try to hide their intent anymore. Aided and abetted by a large hunk of the media, they have shifted into overdrive to re-install Joe Biden, and whoever is pulling his strings, into the corridors of power for at least the next four years. In doing so, they have also gone to war with the American people.

They can read the polls and they are acting out of the fear that the American people, a majority of whom have now figured out their con game, will throw them out on Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2024. They also know that the consequences of their defeat will mean much more than just going home, but justifiable criminal prosecution for many of them.

I once wrote about how Democrats are the masters of projection, and that is becoming clearer every day. The one thing you hear from Joe Biden and his fellow Democrats is that “Donald Trump and the ‘MAGA People’ are the enemies of democracy,” and their constant accusations of “election interference.” That is a classic case of projection in that the Democrats are doing everything they can to undermine democracy, and their attempts to bring Trump down through fake charges, corrupt prosecutors and hack judges are all unprecedented attempts to interfere in the election of 2024.

After all, Trump never attempted to jail his opponent in 2020, nor did he go after crooked Hillary Clinton after his victory in 2016, but Biden and his Democrat henchmen are doing their best Vlad Putin impression in trying to put Trump out of the way. It’s really all they have in their playbook at this point, with policy failure after policy failure reflected in ever gloomier poll numbers for “The Big Guy.”  They are desperate people pursuing a desperate strategy.

It's not going to work, and the Dems better be careful that it doesn’t boomerang on them.

The old saying of “what goes around, comes around” comes to mind, but there is a much older story that may augur coming justice for the Democrats and their establishment Republican sycophants. The story comes from the Bible, so there is a good chance that most lefties are unfamiliar with it.

In the Book of Esther, it tells of an evil man named Haman, who was the principal advisor to the Persian King, Ahasuerus (Xerxes I). At the time, the Jews were under the Persian Empire, and the recent wife of the King was Esther, a Jew, who had kept that fact hidden from the King.

Haman was an arrogant man who insisted that all of the King’s servants bow down before him, and one day, a Jewish man named Mordecai refused to bow. Angered by this, and knowing of Mordecai's Jewish nationality, Haman convinced Ahasuerus to allow him to have all of the Jews in the Persian empire killed and had a 50 Cubit (approximately 83 ft) high gallows built for Mordecai’s hanging.

Queen Esther arranged a banquet for King Ahasuerus and Haman, and during the banquet she revealed to her husband, the King, that she was a Jew and that Haman was thus planning to kill her and all of her people. The King was furious about this and it turned out that Haman ended up being hanged on the very gallows he had built to hang Mordecai. In addition, the bodies of the ten sons of Haman were hanged after they were killed along with 75,000 other Persians when the Jews rose up in self-defense.

The lesson here is clear: be careful what you wish for, especially if there is evil intent behind those wishes. If the Democrats want to corrupt our legal system and turn it into a weapon against their political opponents, especially the once and future President Donald Trump, they had better be prepared for retribution on a biblical scale, and to hang on their own gallows.
