'LeBron James of feet' gets LeBron James back on the court for the Los Angeles Lakers

Los Angeles Lakers forward and Akron native LeBron James came off the bench for just the second time in his career after a 13-game stretch of dealing with a foot injury. He scored 19 points and grabbed eight points in 118-108 loss to the Chicago Bulls.
James revealed for the first time the extent of his injury suffered against the Dallas Mavericks — a torn tendon in his foot that doctors initially thought would need season-ending surgery. The NBA’s all-time leading scorer sought a second opinion, however.
Enter the "LeBron James of feet."
LeBron said two doctors recommended season-ending surgery, but then he went to see the “LeBron James of feet” and James determined he’d be able to return.

James and the Lakers find themselves in a familiar position, once again fighting in a scrum at the bottom of the NBA’s Western Conference to earn a spot in the play-in tournament. Currently, the Lakers sit at ninth in the standings. The teams at seventh and eighth earn the right to play for a spot in the playoffs.
