LEBANON, Tenn. (WKRN) — An 18-year-old was arrested Tuesday after a Lebanon resident woke up to find him standing in her bedroom, officials said.

Officers with the Lebanon Police Department were sent to Spence Creek subdivision on Saturday, April 13 around 3:30 a.m. to respond to reports about a burglary in process.

Upon arrival, the victim told officers she woke up and found a man standing in her bedroom, according to the department. She told officers she screamed, which made the suspect run away from the home.

According to authorities, officers canvassed the area and were able obtain video footage of the suspect from homes nearby.

Detectives said they were able to identify 18-year-old Jonathan Drury as a suspect after receiving leads from several residents and with help from city’s SafeNet LPR system.

The 18-year-old was found at his residence and taken into custody without incident, officials said.

During the course of the investigation, authorities reported officers were able to determine that this was a “targeted attack” and not random.

I am equally as thankful for the dedication by LPD members who were determined to bring this suspect’s victimization to an end,” Justice said. “We hope that our community can understand that, while we wish to be as transparent as possible and make timely release of information, sometimes we are restricted by the release of some information that may jeopardize our investigation. Our thoughts are with the victim of this incident.”
