Lebanese Army Prepare for 'Final Push' Against Islamic State in North Lebanon

The Lebanese army gained ground and captured new areas from Islamic State (IS) around its northeastern border with Syria on August 21.

The army said that its forces captured a large amounts of weapons, ammunition, explosives and military equipment during the advance.

Local reports said the Lebanese army was preparing for the final push against Islamic State in the area.
