At least seven people were injured in the latest Russian attack on Odesa overnight on April 23, Mayor Hennadiy Trukhanov reported.

At least two children are among the injured, reported Odesa regional governor Oleh Kiper along with a photo of the aftermath of the attack.

Rescuers have managed to save at least 34 people, including three children, he added.

Residential buildings were the target of the Russian attack, with at least 14 apartments suffering damage, Trukhanov said.

State Emergency Service, the Municipal Guard, and other necessary services are on site to assist with rescue operations.

"We already know about 7 injured,” the Odesa Mayor wrote on Telegram.

“No fatalities have been reported so far."
