At least 50 animals rescued by Fulton County Animal Services as part of police investigation
Fulton County Animal Services asked the public to consider adopting a pet or donating after they added at least 50 animals to the shelter.
Shelter officials said they worked with police to bring the animals to the shelter following the active police investigation.

It is unclear what led to the investigation.
The shelter asked the public to consider one of the 300 pets who already live there so that shelter officials can make space available to new arrivals.

Shelter leaders added that the animals involved in the large intake would not be available for adoption.
To support the large intake of animals the shelter said they will require extra resources like food and medical care.
