An 11-year-old boy randomly unleashed pepper spray in the cafeteria of a Queens elementary school on Thursday morning, injuring dozens and sending 10 to the hospital, The Post has learned.

The furor erupted at about 10:40 a.m., which is when the student pulled the trigger on the noxious gas inside P.S. 219 Paul Klapper on Gravett Road in Flushing, sources said.

The mass spraying injured 31 students and nine adults who inhaled the airborne irritant, police said.

Eight students and two adults were sent to NY Presbyterian Queens Hospital, where they were treated and are in stable condition, cops added.

The rest were either evaluated by a fire department physician or refused medical attention, sources said.

It remains unclear where the student got the pepper spray, or why he chose to disperse it inside the school.

It also wasn’t clear if the student would face disciplinary consequences, sources said.
