“The Mobile Learning Lab is available for Harris County citizens of all ages who need tutoring or to simply access the internet for career-related opportunities. There is a multitude of enrichment and remedial resources available for students in elementary through high school. We have a mobile library with a diverse collection of books in the rear of the bus, a variety of interactive, learning games, necessary supplies such as pencils, paper, pens, calculators, etc. to help complete school assignments, and most importantly, a dedicated, knowledgeable staff to assist those who visit. We want to remind parents that reading with your children every day is one of the best home strategies to prepare students and keep them prepared for school. The Mobile Learning Lab is one of many opportunities to encourage reading and other academic skills beyond the classroom.”
