Leaked photo shows iPhone 6 front panel side-by-side with iPhone 5

Apple cannot be happy with the multitude of iPhone 6 leaks we’ve seen over just the past week. Via 9to5Mac, Czech website LetemSvetemApplem.eu has snagged a new picture from Chinese social networking site Weibo that purportedly shows the front panel of the iPhone 6 side-by-side with the iPhone 5. Interestingly, the display portion of the iPhone 6 front panel is only a little bit smaller than the entire iPhone 5, which suggests that we’re looking at the 4.7-inch version of the yet-to-be-released device.

This latest leak follows a leak we saw from earlier on Tuesday that also purportedly revealed the iPhone 6 front panel. There is no noticeable difference between the two panels shown in the two separate leaks, as they both appear to be the same size relative to the iPhone 5 and both have the same placements for the iPhone 6 speaker and front-facing camera. The pictures were posted by two different Weibo users but it wouldn’t be surprising to learn if they both came from the same production facility.

The latest intel we’ve seen on the iPhone 6 indicates that Apple is releasing two versions of the device this year, one that has a 4.7-inch display that’s set to release in the third quarter and one that has a 5.5-inch display that will release in the fourth quarter. Other recent reports about the larger iPhone 6 indicate that it will be much slimmer than current iPhones and will have much smaller side bezels so that you’ll be able to have a big screen that you’ll also be able to comfortably hold in your hand.

The latest leaked picture of the purported iPhone 6 front panel follows below.
