Leaked iPad mini parts show black anodized aluminum and nano-SIM card slot

Leaked iPad mini parts show black anodized aluminum and nano-SIM card slot

Following the news that production for the iPad mini has started at Foxconn in Brazil, website UkrainianiPhone has posted purported photos of the 7.85-inch tablet that reveals two designs that haven’t yet appeared in previous leaks. First there’s a nano-SIM located on the side of the device’s case, which means it will likely come in 3G models. And second, it appears Apple (AAPL) might sell the iPad mini in an all black finish with what looks to be a black anodized aluminum finish, just like the new black and slate iPhone 5.

The smaller Lightning port is also present along with the speakers that have shifted from the rear to the bottom. Another leaked photo shows a white LCD that would indicate Apple is once again planning at least two colors for the iPad mini. The iPad mini is rumored to be announced as early as October 17th, with media invites rumored to be going out on October 10th. A few more photos of the leaked iPad mini parts follows below.
