Is Samsung finally getting ready to unveil the smartphone we’ve all been waiting for? Samsung’s top smartphones have all have a few things in common over the past few years. They have all had gorgeous displays and plenty of nifty features, and they have all featured plastic cases that feel cheap and flimsy. According to a series of leaks, however, we may soon finally be able to get our hands on an awesome high-end Samsung smartphone with a premium look and feel that matches its premium specs.
Gadget leaker @evleaks on Wednesday posted the latest image in a series of leaks that have seemingly been painting a picture of Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy F smartphone, a premium handset that appears to be a significantly upgraded version of the Galaxy S5.
We recently saw the device leak in gold, and now we have a “crystal clear” aluminum version to go with it.
According to earlier reports, the upcoming Galaxy F will feature a 5.3-inch quad HD display, a quad-core Snapdragon 805 processor, 3GB of RAM, a 16-megapixel rear camera, 2-megapixel front-facing camera, microSDXC support and Android KitKat.
The handset’s release timeframe and pricing are currently not known, but it is believed that Samsung may charge a premium for the device.
