League of Women Voters to host information session about proposed tech levy for Rochester Public Schools

Sep. 27—ROCHESTER — The League of Women Voters will host a public information session on Wednesday, Oct. 11 about Rochester Public Schools' upcoming 2023 Capital Projects Levy Referendum, "Technology for Transformation," that will be on the ballot this November.

The event will be held from 7-8 p.m. in the auditorium of the Rochester Public Library.

RPS Superintendent Kent Pekel will discuss the purpose and the impact the levy would have on the school district's educational and operational performance, as well as the financial impact the levy would have on Rochester homeowners and businesses.

There will be time for questions from the audience. People can submit a question ahead of time with the
