North Carolina now has 13 players who have been ruled out for the season. That list now includes its leading wide receiver.

The Tar Heels released their injury report for the upcoming game at Georgia Tech Thursday and it included four new names, including Austin Proehl. Proehl, a senior, leads the team with 16 catches and 270 receiving yards. According to the Associated Press, Proehl “had his left arm in a sling on the sideline” during last weekend’s loss at Duke.

The other new names on the injury list with unspecified season-ending injuries were defensive tackle Tyler Powell, tight end Carl Tucker and wide receiver Rontavius Groves. Powell, also a senior, appeared in 35 games during his UNC career with 57 tackles and three sacks. Per the AP, he left the Duke game after “crumpled to the turf grabbing his right knee.”

Tucker, a redshirt sophomore, had six catches for 100 yards so far this season after hauling in nine passes for 130 yards and a score in 2016. Groves, a redshirt freshman, made his first career start before exiting the game with a right knee injury.

Those four join running back Antwuan Branch, safety Jesse Cuccia, offensive lineman Luke Elder, safety D.J. Ford, receiver Thomas Jackson, running back Jacob Schmidt, linebacker Andre Smith, offensive lineman William Sweet and tight end Noah Turner on the list of UNC players out for the season.

Additionally, cornerback Corey Bell Jr., offensive linemen Tommy Hatton and Tyler Pritchett and running back Stanton Pruitt have all been ruled out for Saturday’s game.

North Carolina is 1-3 (0-2 ACC) so far this season.
