MEDIA Magazine's Future of Media Forum is an official event of Advertising Week, an annual gathering of advertising, marketing, media and communications leaders. Presented by MediaPost Communications, this year's Forum will be hosted by New York University-SCPS through the Master's Program in Graphic Communications Management and Technology and held at the NYU Kimmel Center.

"We're excited to again present our annual exploration of the frontiers of Media," said Kenneth Fadner, MediaPost's Chairman and Publisher. "Media has evolved rapidly in the last few decades due to the Internet and this evolution will only continue. These dramatic changes have enabled us to produce lively debates for five straight years. The Future of Media Forum explores where we're going as an industry and with that question continually under study, what better host and sponsor for the Forum than NYU, New York City's top academic institution covering the same subject matter?"

Bonnie Blake, academic program director of the NYU-SCPS Master's Program in Graphic Communications Management and Technology, stated: "We are pleased to host and sponsor the 2012 Future of Media Forum. This is an important discussion about the future of media and the many challenges and opportunities it offers. The Forum will encourage an exchange of ideas among industry leaders, students, alumni and faculty members."

The event will be held on Wednesday October 3, 2012 at NYU's Kimmel Center in Manhattan from 8:30-10:30 AM EDT. Tickets are available online at: http://www.mediapost.com/futureofmedia
