Lea Michele pays tribute to Cory Monteith five years on
Five years following Cory Monteith's tragic death, his girlfriend and Glee co-star Lea Michele has posted a touching message on Twitter.

Illustrated by the sun setting across an ocean, the post reads: "There are some who bring a light so great to the world, that even after they have gone, the light remains."
Monteith passed away at the age of 31 from a drug overdose on July 13, 2013.

The 31-year-old actress/singer, who's now engaged to Zandy Reich, has opened up about her relationship with Monteith over the years.
Back in 2014, Lea revealed: "We talked about a lot of things. We talked about children and what we would look like when we grew old and who would be fat and how we would stay thin. We talked about where we wanted to go and what we wanted to do.
"We were done. We were it. When you're at that place in your life with someone, you talk about everything. But today I feel like I was given the best part of Cory and I'm thankful for that."
Glee creator Ryan Murphy has also shared his thoughts on the direction the show went after Monteith's passing.
"What started off as being such a great celebration of love and acceptance ultimately became about darkness and death. It was a great lesson in what not to do moving forward" he explained.
