Law enforcement officials and community leaders announce 3rd annual effort to reduce summer gun violence in Detroit

United States Attorney Dawn N. Ison, Detroit Deputy Mayor Todd Bettison, Wayne County Prosecuting Attorney Kym Worthy, and Chief James White, Detroit Police Department, along with other One Detroit partners, will announce a summer enhancement strategy aimed at reducing violent crime in the 8th and 9th Precincts in the City of Detroit. The strategy will include enhanced law enforcement actions, community outreach events, as well as a pledge drive.
