Lauren Graham just cleared up a rumor about the coffee on “Gilmore Girls”
With Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life officially on Netflix, there are some very important questions people need answers to. This article may contain some spoilers, so if you haven’t seen the revival yet, you may not want to read further.
Yes, we want to learn if Miss Rory Gilmore is going to keep the baby and we NEED to know if Jess is going to become a bigger part of Rory’s life, but we also have a long-standing question that Lauren Graham is finally clearing up. For years, we’ve been wondering: Is there actually coffee in the thousands of coffee cups drunk by the Gilmore girls?
According to Graham, there was coffee in her cup. Always. Check out the clip, below:
Graham stopped by the Late Show with Stephen Colbert to talk ALL things Gilmore Girls, and because Colbert knows how to ask the tough questions, he inquired about the coffee. He mentioned that the revival had sparked a debate online about whether or not Graham and costar Alexis Bledel carried around empty cups due to the way they held their beloved beverages.

Graham looked absolutely outraged at the accusation and refuted the claim with a very straightforward answer.
“I want to tell you one thing,” She told the host. “It is a true thing. There is
always coffee in my cup.”
Upon hearing the answer, the audience burst into applause. Due to Graham’s slight hesitation, we’re a *little* bit wary about her answer but we’ll accept it, for now.
Coffee is such an important part of Gilmore Girls and we’re so glad to see this rumor put to rest.
