Lauren Boebert on 'Beetlejuice' fondling scandal: 'You should see me in church!' Um, what?
Ultra-conservative Lauren Boebert is speaking out again about being tossed out of the Beetlejuice musical because of her X-rated behavior, in which she allegedly groped her date, is now saying that people should see what she does “in church.”
The Denver Post reported that last September, the MAGA darling was escorted out of the theater after reportedly “vaping, singing, recording and ‘causing a disturbance’ during the performance.”
Boebert denied the claim, writing on X (formerly Twitter) that she was just “laughing and singing too loud,” but security footage proved the theater right and showed the Colorado Republican and her date getting very handsy. In the video, you can clearly see her date groping her while she has her hand between his legs.
Gross.
“People were freaking out about me dancing in the seat at Beetlejuice,” Boebert said in a recent interview with the Washington Post. “Well, they should see me in church.”
Wait, what are you doing in church? We sure hope the conservative Christian politician isn’t defiling the House of the Lord in the same manner she did that poor theater.
She’s obviously pretending that she was only thrown out because she was dancing during the stage performance when we all know it had much more to do with her skill with the old rusty trombone (allegedly).
After the original incident, Boebert apologized for her behavior in an interview with the far-right One America News Network. Of course, she left out what was really going on in that darkened theater.
“I was laughing, I was singing, having a fantastic time, was told to kinda settle it down a little bit, which I did, but then, my next slip up was taking a picture,” she told the network, as reported by The Guardian. “I was a little too eccentric … I’m on the edge of a lot of things.”
On the edge…or edging her date?
We’d love to see Boebert resign in shame, but since that’s not going to happen, we just hope she loses her bid for reelection — which isn’t that far-fetched considering the hypocritical congresswoman had to move to a new district to stand even the slightest hope of her winning the race. Be smart, Colorado!
