Latest: Deputy wounded in Lancaster will recover
LANCASTER, Calif. (AP) — The Latest on the shooting of a Los Angeles County sheriff's deputy (all times local):

A Los Angeles County deputy who was shot in the parking lot of a sheriff's station is expected to make a full recovery.
Authorities say 21-year-old Angel Reinosa was wounded Wednesday afternoon while going to his car at the Lancaster station. Mayor R. Rex Parris says he was wearing a ballistic vest that deflected the bullet into his shoulder.
Capt. Todd Weber says the minor wound didn't require surgery.
Reinosa has been with the department for about a year.
Authorities believe the sniper fired from a four-story apartment building that overlooks the station. The mayor says the 100-unit building houses people who have been treated for mental illness.
Authorities have evacuated some residents and told others to shelter in place as they search for the attacker.
They say there's no threat to the general public.

Authorities believe the gunshot that wounded a deputy outside a Los Angeles County sheriff's station was fired from a nearby building complex that provides mental-health services and low-income housing.
Deputies on Wednesday evening are searching for the shooter inside the block-long, four-story structure that overlooks the sheriff's facility in downtown Lancaster, north of Los Angeles.
Lancaster Mayor R. Rex Parris says the deputy was wearing a ballistic vest when he was struck while standing in a parking lot. Parris says the vest deflected the bullet into the shoulder of the deputy, who's expected to recover.
Parris says it appears the shooting was a random act and not one directed at the specific deputy.
The mayor says the area is locked down, and there's no threat to the general public.

The mayor of Lancaster, California, says a deputy shot and wounded outside a Los Angeles County sheriff's station is going to be OK.
Authorities are searching for the shooter in buildings surrounding the station where the deputy was hit in the shoulder while standing in the parking lot Wednesday afternoon.
Deputy Lillian Peck says the deputy was hospitalized in unknown condition after the shooting around 2:45 p.m. Mayor R. Rex Parris tells KABC-TV he has visited the wounded deputy in the hospital. Parris says the deputy is expected to recover and return to duty.
There's a huge police presence as investigators try to determine where the gunfire came from.
The public has been told to avoid the downtown neighborhood.
Metrolink train service has been halted in the area.
