Las Vegas police search for vehicle involved in deadly hit-and-run

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Las Vegas police are searching for a vehicle involved in a deadly hit-and-run in the central valley Saturday night.

Around 8:10 p.m., officers responded to the area of North Main Street, south of Foremaster Lane after a report of a hit-and-run involving a pedestrian.

Evidence at the scene and surveillance video showed that a pedestrian was crossing Main Street, outside of a marked crosswalk when a vehicle traveling southbound hit the pedestrian.

The driver of the vehicle left the scene after the crash, police said. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.

The suspect vehicle was identified as a 1990s to early 2000s white Toyota Solara black top convertible with damage to the front right headlight assembly, hood, and windshield. The vehicle also appeared to be missing rims/hubcaps on the left side.
