Las Vegas Police Officer's Funeral Procession Passes Mandalay Bay Resort

A Las Vegas police officer killed during the Mandalay Bay shooting was remembered at his funeral on Friday, October 20.

Charleston Hartfield, an 11-year veteran of the force, was attending the Route 91 Harvest Festival when he was shot and killed along with 57 others. More than 500 people were injured.

A police motorcade accompanied the vehicle carrying Hartfield’s body to the church in Henderson. This footage shows the procession as it moved down Las Vegas Boulevard and passed the Mandalay Bay resort, seen on the left.

He was to be buried at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Boulder City.
