Larry David Rides in a Car with Jerry Seinfeld
Jerry Seinfeld launched a new video series where he gets to show off his collection of very nice cars while sitting down for coffee with some of funniest best friends. His first guest is an old friend, Larry David.

The new series, Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee, is basically an excuse for Seinfeld to spend the day hanging out with his comedian friends and showing the world his car collection. You'll remember the Superbowl commercial Seinfeld did where he tried and tried to impress some guy in order to get the first Acura NSX, only to be bested at the last minute by that other famous car collector, Jay Leno.

In the first installment of the series, Seinfeld rolls around with old pal Larry David in a 1952 Volkswagon Bug. ("In Azure Blue," Seinfeld notes.) They talk about, well, nothing in particular, but that's kind of their M.O. If you enjoyed the HBO special Talking Funny then you'll probably want to give the video a chance. Coincidentally, the next episode features Seinfeld's Talking Funny couch mate Ricky Gervais.

Our favorite exchange between the two old friends comes when they're talking about the unusual turn signal on Jerry's fully restored Volkswagen. They sound strangely like Kermit the Frog and Fozzie, bantering between scenes of The Muppet Movie:

"It's called a semaphore," Jerry says.

"I thought that was some grammatical notation," Larry responds.
"That's a semicolon."
"I'm gonna look that up."
