Large Group Beats Men Outside Washington Hotel
Police in Washington released footage on July 24 of a large group of people surrounding two men and beating them outside a hotel on Connecticut Avenue on July 14.
The footage shows a suspect approaching one of the men and punching him in the face. A group of people rush to the scene and join in the beating, kicking him and stomping on him, and punching the other man.
Some of those involved in the attack could be as young as 13 years old, according to a police report obtained by FOX 5 DC. The outlet reported that there was an exchange of words before the attack, with one of the suspects yelling, “That’s him.”
The man who was knocked to the ground suffered injuries to his head and left eye socket and the other man suffered a swollen left eye, FOX 5 DC reported.
