Lansing Fire Department official on paid administrative leave

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — Lansing Fire Department Logistics Chief Jwan Randle is on paid administrative leave pending the outcome of an investigation, confirms Scott Bean, a spokesman for the city.

Bean declined to discuss the reasons why citing a policy that prohibits the city from discussing personnel matters.

Randle serves as the Logistics Chief for the Lansing Fire Department, the department’s website biography says. He is based at the Lansing Fire Maintenance Division, 3708 Pleasant Grove Rd.

City Pulse reported Tuesday that Randle was on leave while the city investigates allegations he misused the city credit card. The report also indicates he is under investigation for misusing a city vehicle and cell phone.
