UPDATE: 7:19 A.M. FRANKLIN COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — VDOT says all lanes on Virgil H Goode Highway are open after a crash on Tuesday morning.

FRANKLIN COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — The Virginia Department of Transportation says drivers can expect delays due to a vehicle crash on US-220 on Tuesday morning.

The crash occurred near Murray Knob Road on the Virgil H Goode Highway. The department says the crash has led to the south-right lane and right shoulder to be blocked off.

Morning commuters are encouraged to seek alternative routes until the crash is cleared.
