Lancaster police searching for missing endangered woman

LANCASTER, Pa. (WHTM) — The Lancaster City Police is asking the public for assistance locating a missing woman who they believe may be endangered.

Police say Carlota Arauz, 75, was reported missing by family members at around 8:30 p.m. on April 25.

Police say she was last seen on Lancaster Safety Coalition cameras walking east on King Street from Broad Street.

According to police, the footage shows Arauz wearing a blue shirt and possibly jeans. Police believe it is the came clothing that she left her home in.

Police say Arauz is diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Disease.

Anyone with information about her whereabouts is being asked to immediately contact the Lancaster Bureau of Police at 717-735-3300.
