Lancaster gets 28 new NFTA bus stops
LANCASTER, N.Y. (WIVB) — The NFTA is expanding its reach in Lancaster with 28 new stops.
The 28 stops are split into 14 in each direction:
13 on Transit Road
12 on Broadway
One on Aurora Street
Two on Pleasant Avenue
“The strategic placement of these stops will ensure seamless access to key destinations and enhance mobility in the community,” the NFTA said.
Lancaster Mayor Lynne Ruda says these new stops will also help connect the village to more communities, including Buffalo.
“Our focus on multi-modal transportation infrastructure has enhanced the opportunity for these new bus stops,” Ruda said.
