Lancaster County-based Irish Pub closes after 33 years

CITY OF LANCASTER, Pa. (WHTM) — A long-time Irish Pub in Lancaster County is officially closed.

abc27 news reported back February 2024 after O’Halloran’s Irish Pub & Eatery announced that they would be closing after being in business for more than 3 decades.

“It is with deep sorrow that we must announce the permanent closing of O’Halloran’s Irish Pub,” O’Halloran’s Irish Pub & Eatery previously said on Facebook. “For 33 years, O’Halloran’s has been your faithful neighborhood go-to corner bar. A deep-rooted legacy and a staple of Cabbage Hill. O’Halloran’s and its staff has been an establishment that is proud and honored to have served you over the past 3 decades.”

According to their website, O’Halloran’s Irish Pub & Eatery, which is located at 764 High Street in Lancaster, first opened its doors in the Cabbage Hill neighborhood of Lancaster City back in 1991.

The Irish Pub’s last day of operation was on Saturday, April 27.
