Update: Lake Mead reopens to traffic following crash involving pedestrian

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A pedestrian suffered critical injuries Monday morning and is hospitalized after being struck by a vehicle in the east valley.

The crash was reported around 5:10 a.m. on East Lake Mead Boulevard at Betty Lane, just east of Nellis Boulevard. According to Las Vegas Metropolitan police, Lake Mead was closed for around two hours from North Betty Lane to North Ringe Lane.
