LAGRANGE: City offices set to shut down for litter cleanup campaign on April 19

LAGRANGE, Ga. (WRBL) – The city of LaGrange announced through a press release on Monday, that the city plans to shut down on April 19 to allow city employees to pick up litter and will reopen at 1 p.m.

The shutdown will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. The city invites community members and local businesses to participate in LaGrange’s “Leaving LaGrange Better than We Found It” clean-up campaign.

Interested individuals and businesses are asked to arrive on April 19 at 8 a.m. in front of LaGrange City Hall. The city says “a quick ceremony” will be held before the litter pickup and after the cleanup, the city invites participants to visit the Sweetland Amphitheatre for lunch.
