Laela’s Hope Cat Rescue reaches 50 adoptions

BECKLEY (WVNS) – Many cats are finding a home thanks to one local organization. Laela’s Hope Cat Rescue in Beckley is working with Pet Supplies Plus.

They are celebrating their 50th cat adoption. The celebration includes a raffle, homemade jewelry, cookies, and more.

Debbi Miller, Founder of Laela’s Hope Cat Rescue, says there are many cats out there that need a home.

“We have so many community cats that just don’t have homes. They’re left out there just orphaned in the bad weather. They’re medically in need of vet care and we’ve had a wonderful success rate here” said Miller to 59News.

Miller says she is thankful for everything Pet Supplies Plus has done. She says the next goal is to reach 100 adoptions.
