Lady Gaga Nails the National Anthem at the Super Bowl – and the Internet Goes Wild
Kicking off one of the most star-powered Super Bowls in recent memory, Lady Gagasang "The Star-Spangled Banner" at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
Wearing a sparkling, red Gucci suit with a flared leg trouser and a pair of blue glitter and red-and-white striped platform high heels, the singer delivered an emotional (and flawless) performance as acclaimed deaf actress Marlee Matlin performed the song in American Sign Language.
The stadium – and the Internet – went crazy over her performance.

"I've always wanted to sing the National Anthem at a major sporting event since I was a little girl," Gaga told the NFL. "This is one of the highest honors of my career. I get a chance to sing for all the athletes who have been working so hard their whole like for this moment."
Coldplay will be headlining the halftime show this year, and Beyoncé – who performed in 2013 – is rumored to be hitting the stage alongside the band.
