Duncan Bannatyne, who was booted out of the jungle on Thursday night, spoke out against the socialite in his exit interview, describing her as “not very nice.”

But Lady C’s son has leapt to her defence saying that she was bullied by Tony Hadley and Duncan Bannatyne.

“I could see she was bullied because I understand my mum and she doesn’t react or counter attack unless she is attacked,” he told The Daily Mirror.

“She won’t start a fight if you don’t throw the first punch.”

Dima denies that his mum is a snob and that it was the media that turned her arguments with Tony and Duncan into a class thing.

He said: “I think it was made into a class thing. She is not a snob, she doesn’t judge people based on a certain class.”

Dima also explained that Lady C’s jungle fall was behind her sudden exit on Wednesday, as she was in agonising pain.

He said: “It was her back and her shoulder. She tripped and fell over her shoes and hurt her back. She had been on medication from quite early on in the show.”

A representative for Tony Hadley told MailOnline: “These allegations are pure fantasy - the whole nation has witnessed how Lady C has continually made vile and hurtful comments towards various camp-mates.”

Duncan Bannatyne’s spokesperson also dismissed Lady C’s accusations of bullying, saying “We have every confidence in ITV’s editorial judgements”.
