Kylie Jenner says she and Jordyn Woods have 'healthy distance' in friendship after cheating scandal

Kylie Jenner is giving an update on her relationship with her former best friend Jordyn Woods.

On Season Five, Episode Two, of “The Kardashians,” Jenner revealed she ran into Woods during Paris Fashion Week in 2023 after they were last spotted out together at a restaurant in July of that same year.

"It was fun," Jenner said of seeing her old pal again. “I think we have like a lot more healthy distance in the relationship. Now it’s like, we talk once a month."

Kardashian told Jenner that she "never had an issue" with her remaining friends with Woods.

"That's not my job in life," she said, adding that she would just like to put the whole situation "behind" them all.

"They're always pinning the girls against one another and there's actually no beef," Kardashian said of the tabloids. "I hate that you have to choose team Jordyn or team Kylie and we're not like that because we're just living. We're not thinking that hard about the situation anymore."

What happened between Kylie Jenner and Jordyn Woods?

In 2018, Jenner and Woods had a falling out when rumors surfaced online that Woods hooked up with Tristan Thompson, who was Kardashian’s partner at the time.

The following year, Woods confirmed on Red Table Talk that she and the NBA player did, in fact, share a kiss. Shortly after that, there were reports that Jenner and Woods stopped being friends.

Jenner revealed in November 2023 that she and Woods are still friendly towards one another.

"Jordyn and I, we always stayed in touch throughout the years and we would meet up at my house and catch up and just talk through everything," the Kylie Cosmetics founder told Jennifer Lawrence in Interview Magazine. "We never fully cut each other off, and one day, naturally, we were like, we want to get sushi and we don’t want to hide anymore."

The mother of two described it all as a learning experience.

"There’s a learning lesson in everything, and I think that in a weird way, everything happens how it’s supposed to happen," she said. "We were so attached at the hip that we needed space to grow into the people that we were supposed to be. I needed that independence and that confidence because she was like my security blanket for so long."

Season Four episodes of "The Kardashians" have approached the topic. In Episode Eight, Thompson apologized to Jenner for his role in the cheating scandal.

He said, “I put myself and (Jordyn) into a situation that wasn’t right and wasn’t smart. (I) made it tough for you and Khloé, because at the end of the day, you have your best friend and then you have your sister who you love more than anything else, so it’s 100% on me. I want to say I’m sorry, and I feel bad about it.”

Jenner accepted his apology and said she's "cool" with Woods.

“We still talk and catch up. We’re good,” she said.
