Kylie Jenner Bleeds and Kate Hudson Can’t Sit: The Unglamorous Side of the Met Gala
The Met Gala might be fashion’s prom, but behind the scenes it’s not always glam.
Kylie Jenner made her Met Gala debut on Monday in New York City, embracing the night’s theme: Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology in a formfitting, silver, embellished Balmain dress with Lorraine Schwartz jewels. But the fab look came at a cost. After the ball, the 18-year-old reality star Snapchatted her scratched legs and bruised feet.

“When ur dress made you bleed and ur feet are purple,” she wrote on the pic. She quickly followed up the snapshot with a close-up photo of her blunt bob. “It was worth it though,” she added.

Karlie Kloss looked like a Grecian goddess in a floor-length, white Brandon Maxwell gown with cutouts, but after walking the carpet, the designer took a pair of scissors to the frock after discovering a stain on the skirt.
“This is a bad idea, or maybe it’s brilliant, I don’t know,” the model wrote as she documented the overhaul in a social media video. “To drinking and cutting,” Brandon said before completing the job.

Despite sporting a cast on her arm, Lorde looked like the belle of the ball in a white layered tulle gown. Well, until she suffered the dreaded nip slip on the carpet in front of hundreds of cameras.
Then there’s Kate Hudson, who slayed the red carpet, but her dress wasn’t exactly easy to sit in. In fact, on the way to the big event, she Snapchatted a video of herself standing in a moving limo.
