Kyle Schwarber tumbles into stands after hustling for nice grab
Chicago Cubs outfielder Kyle Schwarber is charging at you and a collision is imminent, what do you do? To those of you who aren’t flinching, please keep in mind that Schwarber is six-feet tall, weighs 235 pounds and looks like a linebacker.

OK, if you’re still not moving, you have to be distracted by something. And since you’re most likely to encounter Schwarber at a baseball game, we’re guessing you’re too busy watching a falling baseball.
That’s exactly what happened during Chicago’s 4-3 win over the Atlanta Braves on Monday. In the bottom of the sixth inning, some fans in left saw Schwarber coming straight for them after Freddie Freeman hit a fly ball into foul territory.
Schwarber charged toward the seats, reached up at the last second and made a nice running grab. Only problem was, he had way too much momentum to stop himself from going straight into the front row.
Schwarber fell right into a couple fans and a security guard. He had slowed down a little bit to make the catch, so he wasn’t going full speed, but we’re guessing it still hurt all parties involved a little.
If that was the case, they didn’t show it. Every fan involved in the tumble immediately rushed to help lift Schwarber. When he was able to get back on his feet, he casually jogged to the dugout, making sure to flash the ball to the umpire. Yeah, he held onto it for the out.
Against all odds, everyone came out of the incident in pretty decent shape. That’s not what you expect when you hear Kyle Schwarber collided with some fans.
We wouldn’t recommend standing your ground if Schwarber charges at you in a dark alley, but we’re glad things worked out in this instance.
